She was born in Örebro and her family came together there in the middle of the 19th century from Värmland, Närke, Västmanland and Södermanland. Her grandmother has ancestry in Tersmeden's family and on her grandmother's side the Måns family from Karlskoga.

Site news Now there is a page that shows where a person's relatives have their places for events in their life. It starts by showing where all ancestors were born. To see this for a person, select "Ancestry" and then on the right in the "Map" menu it will show five generations back. There is a menu where you can select more or fewer generations. There is another menu where you can select where the ancestors lived when they died. If you click on one of the markers on the map, a list of the people who were at that location will be displayed.
